Music Minute: Rihanna Launches “777” Tour + Will Perform on SNL November 10th

Rihanna is proving to be “a force to be reckoned with” in this new generation of pop stars… The Bajan beauty will release her seventh studio album, Unapologetic, next month on November 19th and with this news I have something to share with the Navy. Pull a chair up and read up!
With the big release of new album, Rih-Rih will stop by Saturday Night Live for the FOURTH time as a guest performer to sing her lead single ‘Diamonds’.
Will we get a Shy Ronnie pt. 3? Who knows, we all would have to wait until November 10th to find out.
‘Diamonds’ is currently sitting in the number 5 position on Billboard Hot 100 and after her SNL stint, it’s safe to say ‘Diamonds’ will take the number one position the following morning.
No big “Rih-lease” day can go on without showing some love to her adoring Navy… Rihanna and Island Def Jam Music Group recently announced the 777 Tour.
Rihanna’s 777 Tour, launching on November 14th, will consist of a group of die-hard fans from the Rihanna Navy and a traveling international press corps of over 150 journalists representing 82 countries. They will be taken aboard a chartered Boeing 777 twin-jet to 7 shows in 7 days in 7 countries. Working with global sponsor, HTC Corporation, the “777 Tour” will host an intimate gig in each of 7 cities—including one in the UK co-sponsored by River Island — marching toward the November 19th release date of Unapologetic.
