“I’m Bulletproof” Nelly Furtado Talks Low Album Sales with Huffington Post

Nelly Furtado isn’t letting the low album sales of her recent LP, The Spirit Indestructible, dim the light on her morale…
If you didn’t catch the upsetting news, The Spirit Indestructible sold an alarming 6,000 units in its initial opening week…that’s a tremendous drop compare to her last English album, Loose which sold 219,000 units in its opening week.
“I’m Bulletproof,” the Interscope Records recording artist shares with Huffington Post when discussing the poor album sales of The Spirit Indestructible. Nelly sat down with Huffington Post to discuss the poor album sales of her LP and tells them she’s stands by the music she created and she cannot wait to perform parts of the album live:
“We’ll see what happens and just keep on chugging along with these songs because musically I can’t wait to perform them live. That’s my main goal…”
“I’m so proud of it creatively. I’ve gotten feedback that it’s a very liberating album to listen to and for me it was liberating to create it. Luckily, I have had a lot of ups and downs in my career on a commercial level, so I’m very bulletproof in that way.”
