Lupe Fiasco covers Chicago’s Sun-Times Splash Magazine + Goes “Under The Gun” with DJ Nina 9

The socially conscious rapper we all love, Lupe Fiasco, shares with Chicago’s Sun-Times Splash Magazine the things that keep him up at night in a thought provoking interview with the magazine.

Lu shares with Splash editor Susanna Negovan the duality of food and liquor on the human condition, the growing violence in Chicago, his recent partnership with After School Matters on the Little Man Project and more.

The Little Man Project is a music education program created by Lupe Fiasco and other local Chicago rappers. With the support of The Lupe Fiasco Foundation and After School Matters, The LMP is now an available internship to all CPS students and teens ages 14-18.

Lupe Fiasco’s fourth studio, Food & Liquor II: The Great American Rap Album, pt. 1, is currently in stores now! Purchase the album if you haven’t Cryptic Beauties & Beaus!  ‘Hood Now’ and ‘Unforgivable Youth’ are my current standout songs, but the ENTIRE record is a must hear. Check it out, you won’t be disappointed.
