Somebody’s Caught Up: Billie Joe Armstrong Lashes Out At iHeartRadio… Checks Himself Into Rehab

“Give me a f__ break, one minute left. One minute f__ left. You’re gonna give me f__ one minute? Look at that f__ sign right there. One minute. Let me f__ tell you something. Let me tell you something. I’ve been around since … 1980 … 8 and you’re going to give me one f__ minute? You gotta be f__ kidding me… I’m not f__ Justin Bieber.”

Yikes! Bille Armstrong, front man for rock band Green Day, went on a wild rampage at the iHeartRadio Music Festival in Las Vegas, NV last Friday. The band started their set 30 minutes late which caused the staff to sound off the 1 minute warning earlier than expected….

Clearly and obviously that didn’t sit well with Armstrong because he vented out his frustrations by viciously slandering Canadian pop starJustin Bieber (who wasn’t there by the way) before demolishing his guitar and storming off the stage. Now TMZ reports Armstrong has checked himself into rehab today for substance abuse. I wonder what for? Did Armstrong have substance abuse problems before?

This has to be disappointing to the band and especially the fans! Let’s not forget them because Green Day latest album, ¡Uno!, is suppose to be released tomorrow and now the band has to postpone upcoming events(i.e. concerts). SMH, this is random… one of the track on ¡Uno! is called ‘Carpe Diem’. Carpe diem means to “seize the day”.
