Featured Film: Brotherly Love 2

Director/YouTube Vlogger Kain (a.k.a. hotdamnirock) released his highly anticipated follow-up to his Brotherly Love short film, Brotherly Love 2.  For those of you who are not familiar with the storyline, let me break it down for you…

Brotherly Love introduced us to the “dark side” of Mario and Luigi’s relationship due to countless of times the duo had to save Princess Peach.  Yes, this is Kain’s perspective on the Super Mario Brothers’ relationship.  The scene opens up with Mario lounging after receiving a phone Peach about saving once again — Mario is over saving Peach so he hangs up on her.  Luigi bursts in the room telling Mario to suit up because Peach is in trouble (again).  Mario lets Luigi know that he’s not going to save because it’s basically her fault for getting kidnapped by the same n___ over and over again (i.e. Bowser).  

A heated argument ensues and Mario slips up and says to Luigi he’s nothing but a player #2 and once he dies that’s all anybody is going to remember about him.  Mario then yells that he’s carries the team, not Luigi and he would.  Luigi gets butt-hurt over Mario’s statement and draws his gun.  Surprised, a solemn Mario utters to Luigi “so that’s the way it’s going to be…huh?”  

Teary eyed, Luigi takes his hat off to say:

“My whole life.. I lived in your shadow and not once did I ever complain about the way s__ was.”  ”I’ve been there for you since day one…You sit there and say that bull__ to me?!”  

Mario repsonds:

“I love you bro, but you better pray to God that you’re going to f__ miss…”

The room grows silent and the camera pans down to a gun that Mario hidden underneath the coffee table. Mario springs for the gun and Luigi shoots his gun.  Scene fades to black.

So now here is where the story left off… you’re welcome for the highlight (LOL, just kidding).
