This thought has a way of deterring one from their path leading to future greatness. This thought has a way of triggering fear into the cerebral causing oneself to lose confidence in their ability. This thought is the reason why many are working jobs they detest because they’re fearful of the unknown. Chasing a dream job will come with some risks and sacrifices. It’s part of the territory and that shouldn’t stop you from pursuing your desired career. Just one thought is causing you to postpone your greatness. A thought that you can control…so why are you going to let it (this thought) control you?
I constantly have to repeat this to myself because it’s so hard making nothing into something… I desire to live out my dream job but I let my fear get in the way of it due to the fact that I do not have the necessary means to fund it. I have a start but I fear that no one will pay attention to me.
“Fear is such a weak emotion that’s why I despise it…”
- Lupe Fiasco
Yes, I too despise fear, but fear b*tch-slaps (excuse my french) me constantly and constrains me from moving forward. I shouldn’t let a weak emotion hold me back and neither should you. We must gain confidence in our abilities to make the future happen or we may be stuck in a place where we will regret never trying to pursue our dreams. I do not want to regret anything and I definitely do not want the same for you! It makes me happy seeing others succeed and gain access to accomplishing their dreams. It makes me happy because I understand that it took a lot stress to get from point A to point B. But you know what? To unload that stress, that negativity, all you have to do is change the way you’re thinking. Instead of saying “am I going to make?” say “I am going to make it!”
One way or another, “I AM GOING TO MAKE ‘IT’!” and fear will become my underling.
